SUMMER CAMPS 2013
Glenoaks Stables popular summer riding camps are back again for the 13th year.

Open to riders of all levels, each session runs from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. We divide campers by age and experience into small groups for more individual attention. Under the supervision of our professional coaches, campers spend the day riding, learning about horses and having fun.

Activities include:

Riding: Instruction suited to the camper's level and the always-popular Pony Games

Basic Horsemanship: Learn to properly groom, lead, saddle and bridle a horse. Campers learn body parts, colors and markings, and basic horse care such as feeding, shoeing and hoof care.

Vaulting: Work on balance and coordination through gymnastics exercises while the horse is on a lunge line. Vaulting helps campers develop a "solid seat" while building confidence.

Arts and crafts and other activities.

The minimum age for camp is 6 years.

Session fees are $550 per camper. After-hours care is available for $20/hour with prior arrangement.

• Session 3: July 8 - 12 (full)
• Session 4: July 15 - 19 (full)
• Session 5: August 5 - 9 (full)
• Session 6: August 12 - 16 (full)
