    Training

Isola Stables is a full service Training Barn for the competitive rider, the novice rider and everything in between. Trainer, David Murdoch, is a true Horsemaster, having gained his extensive knowledge and understanding of the training of horses and riders through years of experience in his native New Zealand, Europe and Canada. Instruction and training are provided from the novice to Grand Prix levels.

Isola riders are regularly in the ribbons and championships at horseshows, resulting from consistent and proper training techniques. David’s ability to identify athletic and talented horses is a huge asset to his clients. For students graduating from the Riding School and entering into horse ownership for the first time, David is very good at finding the right match of horse and rider for all levels and abilities.

Isola riders are quite sociable and supportive of one another at the shows and at home. This creates a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to learning and enjoying all aspects of horsemanship.

For further information regarding training at Isola Stables, contact David Murdoch at 650-867-8201 or 650-854-4955.

    Clinics

    Kristine Barret: May 14-16, 2010

Thank you to Kristine Barrett for not only teaching a weekend Dressage clinic here at Glenoaks, but for including a wonderful Pilates introductory session. We all found this very useful and our fit balls now reside at Glenoaks for stretching and fitness routines to add to our riding.

    Tanya Vic: May 17, 2010

One of several Dressage clinics Tanya Vic has taught at Glenoaks. For information contact 650-854-4955.

Pony Club Teaching to Teach clinic with Brian Sabo: June 5 and 6, 2010

The target audience is upper level Pony Club members who are already teaching D and C level riders as well as Pony Club Professional Instructors.
